Former Cameroonian goalkeeper, Joseph-Antoine Bell, has anticipated a competitive match as the Indomitable Lions face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Cameroon and Nigeria are set to clash in the AFCON Round of 16 on Saturday night.
Both nations secured their places in the knockout stage by defeating Gambia and Guinea-Bissau, respectively.
In a conversation with former Super Eagles’ media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, Bell emphasized that it would be a good game, with the outcome determined by the better team.
“We are going to witness a good game, and the best team will win. I hope Cameroon will improve its game because what we’ve seen so far has not been good. Of course, they qualified, but you cannot compare both teams, and I hope Cameroon will match up to the standard,” Bell said.
