Napoli and Barcelona drew this Wednesday at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, 1-1, in a match valid for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
In a goalless first half with no shots from Napoli, the first 45 minutes were completely dominated by the blaugrana team. Their superiority was confirmed on the scoreboard at the 60th minute, with Robert Lewandowski scoring after a pass from Pedri.
On Napoli’s first and only shot on goal, Osimhen took advantage of an error from Iñigo Martínez to level the score at 75 minutes. It’s worth noting that João Cancelo started for Barcelona, with João Félix, recovered from injury, coming on in the 86th minute.
The second leg of this tie will take place at Montjuic on March 12.
