Mohamed Salah (31 years old), the Liverpool star, scored his 11th goal in the Premier League this weekend against Manchester United, becoming the first player to achieve the feat. Salah’s penalty salvaged a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, a result that allowed Arsenal to replace the Reds at the top of the table on goal difference, with seven games remaining.
Before the game, Salah and Alan Shearer had each scored 10 goals against United in the most-watched domestic league in the world.

The Egyptian captain equalized the match in the 84th minute after Aaron Wan-Bissaka fouled Harvey Elliott. But the 31-year-old’s 23rd goal in all competitions this season wasn’t enough to put Liverpool on top of the table after Arsenal had beaten Brighton 3-0 the day before.
Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford)
The Democratic Republic of Congo midfielder scored his ninth goal of the season in the 3-3 draw against Aston Villa.
Wissa’s goal in the 68th minute of the second half, assisted by Sergio Reguilon, put Brentford ahead, but Ollie Watkins’ late equalizer forced the visitors to settle for a point.
Cameroonian international Bryan Mbeumo also scored for Brentford.
Germany
Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart)
Guirassy continued his incredible goal-scoring streak in the Bundesliga this season by scoring the only goal in Stuttgart’s 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund, who are tied on 60 points with second-placed Bayern Munich.
The Guinean national team player finished off a play he helped create with a pass from Jamie Leweling from close range and scored his 24th goal of the season.
Nathan Tella (Bayer Leverkusen)
Tella may not have scored, but he played a crucial role in Leverkusen’s 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, which left the club on the brink of their first Bundesliga title.
With the game goalless and halftime approaching, Tella went down the right flank and forced Robin Gosens into a desperate save. From the resulting free-kick, Leverkusen won a penalty which was calmly converted by Florian Wirtz. Leverkusen is just one win away from the title, with six games remaining in the season.
Ihlas Bebou (Hoffenheim)
The Togolese forward scored Hoffenheim’s final goal in the 3-1 victory over Augsburg. In the last minute of the game, Bebou scored his fifth goal of the season with a long-range shot.
France
Kamory Doumbia, Steve Mounie (Brest)
Mali international Doumbia and Benin’s Mounie scored the goals in Brest’s 4-3 victory over Metz in an exciting match in Ligue 1, keeping them in second place, 10 points behind Paris Saint-Germain, with six games remaining.
Brest took a three-goal lead before surviving a comeback from Metz, who are threatened with relegation.
