On Sunday, during the 33rd matchday of the Spanish D3, the Blaugranas’ reserve team emerged victorious against CD Lugo (1-0), but Mamadou Mbacké Fall got injured. The towering 1.89-meter defender is suffering from an ankle sprain, as stated in a press release from the Catalan club. He is expected to miss several matches.
According to Sport, the Senegalese U23 international is likely to be sidelined for at least a month, which would make him miss the last five matchdays of Primera RFEF. However, if Barça qualifies for the promotion play-offs to D2, the Rufisque native could still feature in the remainder of the 2023-2024 season.
