The regular starters are injured and join De Bruyne on the list of absentees
Erling Haaland and Jérémy Doku are confirmed absentees for the Club World Cup final against Fluminense, which takes place next Friday at 18.00.
The Norwegian striker, who has scored 19 goals in 22 games this season, is still recovering from a foot injury, while Doku has missed the team’s last four games with a muscle injury.
The two players join Kevin De Bruyne on the list of absentees – the Belgian recently rejoined the team’s training sessions, but his return for this World Cup was unlikely.
These three players were not included in Pep Guardiola’s squad for the World Cup semi-final on Tuesday, having been replaced by three youngsters from the club’s academy: Max Alleyne, Mahamadou Susoho and Micah Hamilton.
In that game, Manchester City beat Urawa Reds 3-0.
