Real Madrid’s German international Antonio Rüdiger is looking forward to meeting the renowned Harry Kane ahead of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
“I think we’ll meet more often” said the defender in an interview with Sky.
Rüdiger expressed his anticipation for the clash, likening Kane to the calibre of Haaland. During the quarter-final against Manchester City, he had Erling Haaland under control, despite some physical problems from his opponent in the second leg.
Praising Haaland, Rüdiger recognised his ability, despite the difficulties the player has faced this season. He expects to face Bayern Munich in intense clashes.
As well as Kane, Real Madrid should keep an eye on Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sané, the latter still recovering from injury. Rüdiger hopes that Sané will be fully recovered.
“I always want to play against the best” said Rüdiger.
