Toni Kroos, back in action with the German national team, is set to extend his career with Real Madrid.
Reports from the German press indicate that the 34-year-old has been offered a contract extension by Real Madrid, with indications suggesting he’s inclined to accept. The news, initially reported by Fabrizio Romano, has been corroborated by various German media outlets, including Sky Sports.
A mainstay in Madrid since 2014, Kroos is poised to embark on his eleventh season with the club following the Euro 2024 tournament. Having joined from Bayern Munich as a World Cup winner, he has since clinched the Champions League four times with Real Madrid, among other accolades.
After nearly three years, Kroos made a triumphant return to the German national team last Saturday against France and marked his 108th international appearance on Tuesday against the Netherlands.
With his contract expiring soon, Kroos has hinted at mutual interest in continuing with Real Madrid, stating, “My relationship with the club is too good. We’ll find a satisfactory solution.”
